Moodle Themes
In 2005 Athabasca University (AU) adopted the open-source software called Moodle as its Learning Management System. I helped redesign the Moodle interface look and feel (themes) for each of our academic teaching centres. Later we developed the ability to have themes for individual courses and greater layout and CSS control on the internal pages. Once we were able to exercise more control over the Moodle interface, AU visual designers focused on tailoring the visual design to suit the content of the course and to produce stimulating and engaging learning materials. Here are some of the courses and interfaces that I have worked on in Moodle.
